Seems to be a workable solution that needs more hype! Is this method common knowledge, and if so, could an Apprentice (or MASTER!) publish about it please somewhere easily retrieved, because Google research does not lead to this conclusion and it's a common unanswered question I see on many comment sections around the community. But I think that's wrong, because I just successfully converted VBK to EPUB with nice formatting by reassigning the file in the metadata as an AZW3.
There is almost nothing written about this every forum says to use a different program. Y'all, big question and request for someone in the know preferably Apprentice: I have tried for many hours to research using Calibre to convert Vitalsource's VBK format to other formats, although Calibre does not officially recognize the format. I'm not sure if this is the best forum to ask but users like me are looking for a published answer to a common problem with Calibre.
